Decent Welfare Society started micro credit program by providing small loans of Rs 5000 in 1995. Deserving persons were given the loans to be returned in easy installments. Many of them now running their own shops.

Later in 2001 DWS join hand with Akhuwat to start this program on larger scales.

Distributed more than Rs.32 million in Gujrat to approximately 2781 families.
